Lucca Trailers was proud to support the Howick College team at the National Secondary Schools Condor Sevens Competition taking place from 2nd – 5th December 2023 at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui.
SENIOR GIRLS WIN SILVER AT CONDORS NATIONAL SEVENS!!!
What an incredible weekend these phenomenal young athletes had at the Condors National Rugby Sevens Tournament in Mount Maunganui! Up against some of the nation’s best teams, they achieved a perfect 4 out of 4 wins on Saturday, putting them through to the next level of the competition.

Semi Finals – WIN against MAGS
This impressive performance earned them a place in the finals, facing off against the 2022 champions and Manwatu powerhouse, Manukura. In a hard-fought match against the title defenders, our girls gave it their all and can now proudly claim SECOND place in the whole of NZ! 
A massive shoutout to Coach Wasake and Director of Sport, Mrs Adelita Sotutu, for their unwavering support and guidance. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood behind our team, offering encouragement and support – they couldn’t have achieved this without each and every one of you.
These young women are more than athletes; they are an inspiration to us all and shining examples of resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship!
